Your Best Partner in Smart Brewing—One That Understands Your Taste
Director Hayao Miyazaki once said, “The most important things are troublesome.”
Discovering your flavor preferences takes effort—but that’s what makes it meaningful.

Hikaru understands how nuanced coffee appreciation can be. That’s why we created a smart coffee brewer that feels more like a friend than a tool. Its smart functions help you fine-tune every brew to match your personal taste.
At first, pour-over coffee can feel overwhelming—temperature, grind, water flow... Every detail influences the result. That complexity is exactly what makes the journey beautiful.
With preset parameters and automatic flow control, Hikaru simplifies the process while keeping the integrity of your brew. Just choose your beans, press start, and enjoy the aroma-filled ritual.
Beginner Tip:
Start with a medium or medium-dark roast—they’re easier to distinguish in acidity and bitterness.
Use 90–92°C water, medium-coarse grind (K-Ultra: 55–60), and a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio.
After tasting, ask: What did I like? The nutty notes? Sweet finish? Bright acidity?
Over time, coffee becomes less about taste—and more about the feelings it leaves behind.
Flavor Diversity and the Courage to Explore Coffee
Once you’ve found your coffee routine, curiosity soon takes over.
Is the blueberry note in Ethiopian beans as vivid as people say? Does Indonesian earthiness suit you?
You're no longer just tasting—you’re investigating. Why does this taste good? What happens if I change the method or filter cup?

You’ll realize: great flavor doesn’t require more gear, just better understanding.
